Possible to train whenever wanted.
Oulu course fences are own by our Northern Finland eventers group (under Finnish Riding association).

There are more fences than in those pictures, but some of them.
Booking/Fee: If somebody wants to train in Kuivasjärvi, it costs 2,5 €/day and have to be paid on count 574136-2296449. If there is training with more than one rider at the time, information about to training must send to other riders beforehand (it can be send to Heini).
Pudasjärvi (which is about 140 km from Oulu to north-east).
Course national level (80 - 115 cm) Is owned by Pudasjärvi polytechnic, but it can also be used for training - http://www.kenttaratsastus.fi/maastoradat/pudasjarvi/kuvia-pudasjarvelta.html There is much, much more fences nowdays, but we should put the pictures to the internet. Booking: If You want train in Pudasjärvi, You shoud call the riding teacher of the school p. +358 403539624 fee depends how many riders will be coming.
Adress: Pudasjärvi, Jyrkkäkoskentie 18 A, from Tornio to Oulu, about 130 km then from Oulu towards Kuusamo, until You are in Pudasjärvi, about 90 km then after the center of Pudasjärvi village turn left towards Rovaniemi and Ranua continue about 1,5 km and turn to right to road Jyrkkäkoskentie continue about 1 km and You can see the school area at right, competition is there!
There is shorter way (about 180 km) from Tornio to Pudasjärvi if you not continue until Oulu. Then You should turn from Oulu-road at Olhava and drive smaller roads until Pudasjärvi, but I don't know the exact way. If You have navigator then you could use that road.

If you want to stay over night at Pudasjärvi You can rent a cottage from nearby camping area:

Liminka
Then there is one place for training, in Liminka, about 15 km from Oulu to south. That course is in eventing orientated riding school and doesn't have very many fences yet, but they are building new ones all the time, and are developing the area and course.
Luleå , Björsbyn
The course is placed at Wallöfs Gård, Björsbyvägen
Local level -90 cm, 12 fences (but is not in competition standard at the moment, though many fences are still ok to train on. We have also a number of mobile fences and possibilities to train in an nearby sandquarry which use to be partly waterfilled in spring.
At the moment we don’t know how much it is possible to use the course 2010. Work on an agreement between landowners and Norrskenets Rid och Körsällskap is under construction.
